CONFIRMED: After Thugs Of Hindostan, Aamir Will Make 5 Parts Of Mahabharat

There has been much speculation if Aamir Khan will work
on his dream project – The Mahabharat. But now SpotboyE.com has it from sources
very close to Aamir, that the superstar is indeed working on Mahabharat. In
fact, the pre-production work on the franchise has already begun. Aamir’s
Mahabharat will be divided into 5 movies, which will take up 10 years of the
superstar’s life.

Ideally, he doesn’t wish to do any other film for nearly
a decade, starting 2018, after he completes Yash Raj’s ambitious venture, Thugs
Of Hindostan, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana
Shaikh.
Also, we have learnt from close quarters that Aamir wants
to do Mahabharat in 5 parts. We can't imagine life without Aamir for the next
10 years.
Aamir is still thinking about the extent of his
involvement in the project. There are 3 possibilities
1. If Aamir does a full-length role in Mahabharat,
then he can’t do any other films, for the next 10 years.
2. If he does act in the film, the role will need to
fit his physicality. We know how Aamir likes to get into the skin of his
characters, quite literally. Secret Superstar and Dangal are the most recent
examples.
3. If Aamir does end up acting in the franchise
alongside production responsibilities, he could take a short role. But that
means, he will be tempted to sign a film, or two. But he doesn’t want to
deviate from Mahabharat. He wants to deep dive into it, and nurture it like his
baby.
Perhaps all this, and much more, is going-on in the
superstar’s head.
But one thing’s for sure --- after Thugs Of Hindostan ---
it’s only Mahabharat for Aamir.
